Sugar Plum Tea Party
Posted: by adminOn Saturday, November 2nd , Ballet Etudes hosted an annual Sugar Plum Tea Party for over 200 guests at the Senior Center in Central Park in Huntington Beach. Twenty-six Nutcracker-themed tables were decorated to impress. Guests arrived and were dressed in their best. There were crafts, photos with the characters, a fairy dusting station, a boutique complete with tiaras and bows, tons of raffle prizes and crafts to impress even the most discriminating guest. We were so happy to see so many happy faces as
the Sugar Plum Fairy performed and Grandmother Stahlbaum read the story of The Nutcracker. Guests were pleased to take a photo with the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, Clara, The Nutcracker and the Rat King. In the end, a good time was had by all. The winner of best table decorations was the Ponchinella table with its giant carousel and pink and purple color theme. Honorable mention went to the Candy Cane,
Party Scene and Baker table. All-in-all, the tables were gorgeously decorated. We thank everyone who attended and our MANY volunteers who made the event possible.
