Kim Serany

Title: Assistant Director

Kim has over 20 years of experience as an instructor of dance teaching classes in Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet and Character. Her students range in age from 18 months to adult. She grew up in Northern Ca and relocated to Orange County to work at Disneyland where she has performed in numerous parades and special events. She has toured internationally representing the United States as a member of the All American Dance
Team with Karen Stanger – Kovak. Under the direction of Tony Gonzalez, she competed and performed with the hip hop troupe “Tony G”. Thru Dick Clark Productions, she was a member of “Alvin and the Chipmunks” touring company. She traveled across the US and Canada as both a performer/dance lead and stage manager. Kim is an Assistant Director at HAD overseeing all combo classes as well as the Demonstrator program. She enjoys guiding future teachers along their path. Kim has passed her Cecchetti 1A Teachers
Certification exam. Kim is the Assistant Director of the Dance HB program overseeing all classes and annual recital details. Thru Ballet Etudes Outreach program, Kim works to bring hip hop dance to children in the community who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in dance. She is honored to be passing along her passion for dance to young dancers and loves watching her students grow and fall in love with Dance.
